Branches & Functions

  • N Branch

    Policy matters related to civil aviation of the state, flying matters of state dignitaries, infrastructural development of state airports, airstrips, heliports and helipads etc., Aviation Training institutes, aviation related entertainment activities etc.

  • S Branch

    S-branch is functioning in Tourism Division under the Department of Industries and Mines. The operations related to state tourism are carried out here. The office of Commissioner of Tourism is functioning as the office of the head of the department. Further, Gujarat Tourism Corporation Ltd. is as implementing agency.

  • Y Branch
    • All major development works of 8 main pilgrimage centers of the state, government-owned temples/pilgrimage centers under private trusts.
    • All policy matters related to pilgrimage.
    • All matters related to Gujarat Pavitra Yatradham Vikas Board.
